What does maintenance and inspection include?
An inspection assesses the vehicle's condition within the planned scope of checks. Maintenance includes scheduled replacement or care tasks. Which services belong together depends on your vehicle's requirements and service history.
For a motorhome, the agreed checks may include brakes, tyres, lighting, relevant fluids and wear components. Oil and filter changes are planned according to the applicable maintenance requirements.
A caravan involves different components. We therefore do not simply apply a motorhome service schedule to a trailer. The requested work is agreed separately for your model.

Low mileage does not automatically mean no maintenance is due
Depending on the manufacturer and component, maintenance requirements may relate to mileage, time or other conditions. It is therefore worth checking the vehicle documents even when your motorhome is used infrequently.

Not every check is automatically part of an inspection
A motorhome combines several technical systems. An inspection of the base vehicle does not automatically include every appliance, installation and component in the habitation body.
If you have questions about heating, the refrigerator, water supply, leisure battery or other equipment, mention these explicitly when enquiring. We check in advance whether and to what extent we can undertake the requested work.
Special inspections or checks on the habitation body should also be agreed separately. Do not assume that a water ingress check or gas system inspection has been commissioned as part of a general vehicle service.
A clear description helps avoid misunderstandings about the scope of work. Appliance names, photographs of identification plates and existing inspection records help identify the systems involved.

Have records and observations ready
Bring the vehicle documents and available service records. Previous repair invoices can also help, particularly if a problem keeps recurring or work has already been carried out on the affected component.
Record observations as precisely as possible: when does the noise occur? When did the message first appear? Did the behaviour change after a long period in storage? These details help with the technical assessment.

How often does my motorhome need an inspection?
The requirements for your specific vehicle determine the schedule. Depending on the manufacturer and service item, mileage and time intervals may both matter. Tell us your model and the last documented service so that we can assess your enquiry.
Is maintenance still relevant with low mileage?
Yes. Low mileage does not remove the need to check time-based maintenance requirements. Storage periods and known issues should also be considered. The actual requirements are assessed for the individual vehicle.
What is the difference between maintenance and inspection?
An inspection assesses condition within an agreed scope. Maintenance includes scheduled tasks such as particular replacements or care procedures. We clarify which items are included before the work is commissioned.
Is an oil change automatically included?
Not every workshop order automatically includes an oil change. For a motorhome, this depends on its service requirements, whether it is due and the agreed scope of work. A caravan does not require an engine oil change.

Are appliances in the living area checked too?
Not automatically. Base vehicle work and services involving heating, refrigerators or other installations are agreed separately. Tell us which appliance is involved so that we can assess the options beforehand.
Are gas and water ingress checks included?
These are not automatically included in a general inspection. Ask specifically so that we can clarify whether the requested check is available and needs to be arranged separately.
How much does an inspection cost?
The cost depends on the vehicle, service scope, required materials and any additional work. To provide an initial assessment, we need the vehicle details and information about the service requested.
Can I collect my vehicle on the same day?
This cannot be promised for every appointment. The scope of work, assessment findings and parts availability affect the time required. We discuss the expected arrangements when scheduling your visit.
How do I arrange a maintenance appointment?
