Motorhome and caravan finance in Milmersdorf
Your home on wheels – with financing that fits your plans.
A compact campervan for spontaneous trips, a motorhome for longer journeys or a caravan for family holidays: choosing your vehicle involves more than its layout and equipment. The financing should also suit your financial circumstances.
At Milster & Bahls in Milmersdorf, we discuss financing for new and used motorhomes and caravans. Together with our finance partner, Openbank Deutschland AG, we help you submit an application for your chosen vehicle.
We explain the elements of the offer and answer your questions about deposits, repayment periods and instalments. Available finance plans and specific terms depend on the vehicle, your creditworthiness and the finance provider's assessment.

Four elements that shape your financing
An affordable monthly payment matters. To make an informed decision, also consider the repayment period, any final payment and the total amount payable.
Deposit
A deposit reduces the amount you need to borrow. Your individual offer shows how this affects the monthly payments and overall cost. We discuss the amount in line with your preferences.
Repayment period
The repayment period determines how long you take to repay the loan. A longer term can reduce the monthly commitment while increasing the total interest paid.
Instalment
Your monthly instalment reflects factors including the loan amount, interest rate, term and any agreed final payment. It should remain manageable alongside the running costs of your motorhome or caravan.
Final payment
With a balloon payment plan, a larger amount remains due at the end. Plan for this from the outset. A lower monthly instalment does not automatically mean a lower overall cost.
Repay throughout the term or plan for a final payment?
The options available depend on your financing requirements and the individual offer. We explain the differences using your chosen vehicle as the starting point.
Repay the loan over its term
With a standard instalment loan without a larger final payment, the amount borrowed and agreed interest are repaid over the contract term. Regular instalments form the basis of your payment schedule.
This option may suit you if you prefer a straightforward repayment plan and do not want to budget for a larger outstanding amount at the end.
The monthly payment, annual percentage rate, repayment period and total amount payable remain important. We review these details with you in the individual offer.
Discuss instalment financing →Plan ahead for the remaining balance
With balloon financing, part of the loan becomes payable at the end of the contract. Under otherwise comparable conditions, this can reduce the regular instalments compared with repaying the full amount through monthly payments.
The final payment remains a financial commitment. Before signing, consider how you intend to pay that amount when it becomes due.
Refinancing or returning the vehicle is not automatically included in this type of plan. The specific terms agreed in your contract determine the options available.
Ask about balloon financing →Look beyond the monthly payment
Your home on wheels also comes with ongoing expenses. Allow for insurance, maintenance, storage and travel when planning your budget. This helps you choose an instalment that fits your everyday finances as well as the purchase price.
When comparing offers, consider:
Deposit and net loan amount
Annual percentage rate and repayment period
Number and size of instalments
Any final balloon payment
Total amount payable and additional products

From your preferred vehicle to a finance application
Start with the motorhome or caravan that suits your travel plans. Tell us which vehicle interests you and what you have in mind for the deposit and monthly commitment.
We then discuss the available finance options and the information required for an application. The finance provider assesses the application and makes the lending decision.
Once an offer is available, you can take your time to review its terms. We explain the payment schedule and answer outstanding questions before you decide. The remaining purchase arrangements and handover date are agreed separately with you.
What do we need for the first conversation?
To begin, it helps to know which vehicle interests you, your approximate deposit and your preferred repayment period or monthly payment. If you are still comparing motorhomes, we can discuss finance alongside your vehicle selection.
A formal credit assessment may require proof of identity, evidence of income and further details about your financial circumstances. We will explain which documents are needed for your particular application.
Please do not send sensitive documents unsolicited through the general contact form. For your initial enquiry, a brief description of your requirements and a way to contact you are sufficient.
Consider your sale and next purchase together
Would you like to sell your existing motorhome and buy another? Let us know early in the process. Agreed sale proceeds can be taken into account when planning your personal budget.
The valuation of your current motorhome and the finance application for the next vehicle are assessed individually. We discuss with you how the timing of both transactions could fit together.

Can I finance new and used motorhomes?
We advise on financing for new and used motorhomes and caravans. The options available for a specific vehicle depend on the individual offer and the finance provider's requirements.
Which finance provider do you work with?
Our finance partner is Openbank Deutschland AG. We help with your application and explain the individual offer. The finance provider makes the lending decision.
Is financing without a deposit available?
Whether finance without a deposit can be offered is assessed individually. Tell us your preferences. Availability can only be confirmed after considering the vehicle, your information and the finance provider's assessment.
How much will the monthly payment be?
The instalment depends mainly on the amount financed, the term, the interest rate and any final payment. We therefore discuss an individual offer for your chosen vehicle rather than quoting a standard monthly amount.
What is the difference between instalment and balloon financing?
With a standard instalment loan without a larger final payment, the loan is repaid through the regular instalments. Balloon financing leaves a larger amount due at the end, which must be budgeted for alongside the monthly payments.
Can I simply return the motorhome at the end?
Returning the vehicle is not automatically an option with balloon financing. Rely only on the options explicitly agreed in your contract and clarify this point before signing.
Which documents will I need?
Requirements depend on your circumstances and the credit assessment. They may include proof of identity, evidence of income and further financial information. We will explain what is required for your application.
How long does a finance decision take?
Processing time depends on whether the information is complete and on the finance provider's assessment. We cannot promise a fixed timeframe for every application. We will discuss the progress of your enquiry with you.
Can I make additional payments or repay early?
If you intend to make extra payments or repay the loan early, raise this before signing. The applicable conditions and any costs can be clarified using the specific loan offer.
Can I sell my existing motorhome at the same time?
You can offer your motorhome to us for purchase. Whether we buy it and how the sale, payment and next purchase fit together are agreed individually. Selling your vehicle does not automatically mean that financing will be approved.
